Tennis Court Cleaning Demo

To perform tennis court cleaning efficiently and safely requires the correct equipment, and the required training on how to use the equipment in the correct manner without damaging the courts surface. This article is written to explain this process for you and also to show a few videos so that you have a good idea of what to expect when you hire a contractor for tennis court cleaning. The condition of the surface will obviously have an impact on how it will look after cleaning has taken place. If your paint is a bit tired and starting to thin then obviously the results will not look as good as when your courts surface is in very good condition.

Most people assume that the rotorwash/surface cleaner is a brush system because they can see the brush around the base of the rotorwash. The truth is much different to that. That’s why I made this video, to explain what is under the rotorwash, and how does it functions. I filmed it with the slo-mo function on my iPhone 7. If I turn slo-mo off, all you see is a blur because it spins at around 25 full revolutions per second.

Firstly I always apply pool chlorine on the courts surface as the first step because the rough texture of the court allows the mould to become very hard to remove with pressure cleaning alone. The chlorine breaks down the mould (I dont know how, but it works better than anything else on the market). This allows the contractor to use a much lower pressure to clean the court. Using a much lower pressure to clean the court is far better on the paint and greatly lowers any risk of damage to the courts surface.

This court has already had the chlorine applied, and you can see how quickly and easily the mould and dirt are removed. One of the biggest benefits of using a rotorwash is that the spinning arm underneath is always spinning at a fixed height from the surface. This means that the cleaning impact from the water is always the same, which results in such an even clean. Have you ever cleaned concrete with using only the wand/gun and you are left with all the zebra striping!! That’s because as you swing the gun from side to side, its swinging closer to the surface and then slightly further from the surface. Back and forth, back and forth. If the distance from the surface varies, so does the impact of the water, and that’s how you get cleaner bits and darker bits. This is not the case with the surface cleaner, so make sure your contractor is going to use a surface cleaner/rotorwash/whirlaway. There is 3 parts to the process. First apply the chlorine, then use the rotorwash to lift the mould/dirt from the courts surface, and the third part is the hose the dirty water off the court, otherwise it will dry and attach itself to the courts surface again, leaving it looking dirty.
I hope you have enjoyed this article but more importantly that you have learnt something helpful so that in future you can hire the right contractor for your tennis court cleaning.

We have performed tennis court cleaning for well over a dozen schools over the last 5 years and also cleaned many residential courts too. Mould looks unsightly and is dangerous in the wet. Did you know it’s actually damaging your courts surface the longer it’s sitting there. With a combination of chlorine and pressure cleaning, your court will look rejuvenated before you know it. Tennis court cleaning usually requires between 4-6 drums of chlorine, depending on the condition of the court. The time frame required to clean a standard sized court is usually around 4-5 hours depending on the condition. The average cleaning cost somewhere between $580 and $660 incl GST. Tennis court cleaning is very satisfying for both us and yourself, so call Andrew today on 0423733822 or send an email enquiry which will be responded to quickly. Is Bigger Better?

Does size really matter? Absolutely! Only guys with a little gernie would argue against this.

We use the biggest and best machine recommended by Spitwater, who have been the leaders in the industry for over 30 years. Using a big machine allows us to clean to the highest standard but in less time, giving you the best results in shortest period of time. To clarify, its not just about the pressure, psi, but its also about the flow of water, how many litres per minute does the machine use? Its the combination of the water flow and the high pressure which gets the job done. When contractors use anything from 3500 – 5000 psi, they are at high risk of damaging your surfaces. Our machines are set to 3000 psi which is a safe level for cleaning.

We only use Spitwater equipment because they are the largest supplier in the southern hemisphere and they only sell top quality Italian equipment. The specs of our machines are: Motor is a Honda 23 HP, which is bigger than our ride on mower :), and the water flow is 30 litres per minute. This machine set up with all the accessories is around $12,000, so you can be assured we have invested in the best equipment to get you the best results in the shortest period of time.

Driveway Cleaning in Brisbane and surrounding areas is one of our specialties! Has your driveway seen better days? Is it slippery to walk on? Does it have mould growing over it? Then I suggest you’re in need of driveway cleaning today!

Don’t put it off any more. Get in touch with Andrew today for a no obligation, free quote. Most quotes can be done over the phone, quickly and easily. Generally all we need is to have a quick chat. A driveway generally takes up about one third of your front yard, so when it looks dirty and tired, it brings the whole front of your property down. Did you also know that when mould is left to build up over painted surfaces such as stencilled driveways or painted driveways, the mould literally eats your paint over time which ruins your surface. When the driveway cleaning has been completed you will often see patchy areas where the mould once lived.

These photos were taken in Coorparoo as part of a whole unit complex clean. The difference is amazing, not only does it look better but it is no longer slippery.

You don’t need to put off your driveway cleaning any longer, Get in touch via email, or call Andrew directly on 0423733822. All emails are linked to our iPhone so you will get a quick response.

Thanks for looking
